Recently, Nanjing Litong Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Litong Heavy Machinery) successfully signed the GJSL-SCFJSG sub-project (construction of the side wall loading platform, corridor and steel ladder for the silo, etc.) of the production and auxiliary buildings construction of the first phase of Lianyungang International Grain Distribution Center, marking an important breakthrough for the company in the field of large-scale grain storage facility construction.
The first phase of the Lianyungang International Grain Distribution Center is located in the Miao Ling operation area of the main port area of Lianyungang. With a total investment of approximately 950 million yuan, it plans to build 4 groups of silo clusters, including 45 vertical silos and 22 star-shaped silos. Each silo is designed with an inner diameter of 16.5 meters and a height of 52.5 meters, covering an area of over 11,000 square meters. This is currently the largest and tallest silo project in Jiangsu Province in terms of diameter and height. After completion, it will become a "sea-based grain depot" with a handling capacity of tens of millions of tons, further enhancing the regional role as a grain distribution hub.
Our company is responsible for the core construction of the focus silo in the GJSL-SCFJSG section. This includes the construction of the side wall loading platform, the corridor and the steel ladder. The project quantity is approximately 100 tons. Currently, the project team has fully initiated the construction and is committed to delivering the project to a high standard.
As a key project at the intersection of the "Belt and Road Initiative" and the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the successful application of the project's steel structure technology not only enhanced the grain distribution hub function of Lianyungang, but also demonstrated our company's professional strength in heavy steel structure.
